Shrey Jani 

Intro

I grew up in Ahmedabad, India, where my early experiences made me interested in both local communities and global issues. After finishing school in Panchgani and Mumbai, I studied International Relations for my Bachelor’s degree. This helped me understand the challenges of global diplomacy and working with different cultures.

Wanting to learn more, I earned a Master’s degree in International Relations at the Australian National University. During this time, I deepened my knowledge of international relations and how different cultures interact on a global level. As I became more aware of social justice issues, I decided to study for a Master’s in Social Work at the Australian Catholic University to help people directly.

My education in both international relations and social work has given me the chance to work in many different areas. From helping people in rehabilitation programs to researching child rights, I’ve focused on finding practical solutions and working together with others. My journey has taken me from India to Australia, giving me a deeper understanding of how to create positive change in both local and global communities.

I’m excited to continue working on projects that make a difference, and I look forward to partnering with others who share a commitment to improving lives.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked in international relations, social justice, and community advocacy — across India and Australia. My experience spans research, policy, and program delivery focused on inclusion and impact.
